Zoom For Business - What It Can Do

My Rating

Online Meetings

Zoom allows online meeting capabilities that make it easy to start, join, and collaborate across any device. Syncs with your calendar system and has robust security settings. The free plan is very robust, but additional options in the pro plan are more appropriate for businesses.

My Rating

Video Webinars

Host online events with up to 100 interactive video participants. Customize and brand your emails and registration forms. Simple and intuitive host controls for presenters and interactive capabilities for attendees from desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and conference rooms.

Conference Rooms

Zoom Rooms tackles the three biggest pain points of the conference room: Starting a meeting, booking a meeting, and sharing content.

Overall rating :  5 / 5

Zoom is a great solution for businesses. Whether you want to have a one-on-one meeting, a group conference call, or a webinar/event, Zoom makes it easy for both host and user to collaborate online. The free version is very robust and generous, but I do recommend businesses go with the Pro plan. I give Zoom a 5-star rating.

Pros and Cons of Zoom

  • Robust features
Zoom offers everything you need for online meetings and collaboration and provides a high quality experience.
  • Optimum performance
If you're having a business meeting, the last thing you want is poor audio or video. Zoom's performance is stellar and is boosted with high-level security and privacy controls.
  • Flexibility
Zoom allows you to set up the functionality you want/need for each meeting, whether there's a password to enter, a waiting room, or a template for your meeting.

New users to Zoom can find it difficult to know how to navigate and find the features they need.

Conclusion:

Zoom is a very robust tool that allows business owners to have meetings, conference calls, webinars or events in a secure online setting. The company is continually adding new features, provides fast and quality customer service/support, and is focused on security and a great user-experience. For business owners looking for a cost-effective tool that's easy-to-use with robust features to communicate in an online world, Zoom is a worthwhile investment.
