Today is such an awesome day. I am in a great mood and that’s because my house just got cleaned. Everything is sparkly, pristine, it has that clean lemony smell and my laundry’s washed and folded. I am in a great mood, and I didn’t have to do it. You see, by bringing in a cleaning lady who, whether I pay her 10, 15, even $20 an hour, it is so worth it because it frees up my time so I can focus on revenue generating activities for my business and my cleaning lady, she’s an expert in what she does. She has the tools to get it done right. She knows how to do the job and she’s always doing something extra like organizing my closets or my drawers to make me more efficient and productive, but also leaving me as a happy customer.

What can you learn from this as a small business owner? You need to answer the question, What is your time worth? Now when it comes to marketing, there are so many things that need to get done, right? Social media, email, content, website, it can make your head spin, but if you’re doing all of that work, you really need to ask yourself what’s your time worth. If you hired a marketing agency, like the Small Biz Marketing Specialist, to help you get your marketing done, yeah it may cost you a few dollars, but you’re gonna have your time freed up so you can focus on revenue generating activities and you would be working with an expert.
