Hey, everybody. Just got back from a fun day of shopping, and look what I got. A NutriBullet Pro juice maker, but that’s not really what I’m here to talk to you about today. What I wanted to share with you was what was inside the box. When I opened it up, there was a brochure in there from this company, Thrive. Now, this is a great example of partnership marketing. Let me show you.

When you open this up, it’s full of recipes and the company did a great job by telling me that I could save 41% and get a free product by going to their website. Now, realize that I am going to be interested in their product, because they sell organic groceries, and I just bought a machine where I want to be healthy. Now, I had never heard of Thrive and probably never would have done business with them otherwise, but because NutriBullet and Thrive partnered up, I now am able to get organic groceries at a great discounted price, get a free product for trying them out, and fantastic recipes that are going to keep me strong and healthy.

So how can you use this in your business? Obviously, a brick and mortar location could easily partner up with another store that’s in their area. For example, a clothing boutique could very easily partner with a hair or nail salon. After all, if you just went and bought a beautiful new dress that you’re planning to wear out for a night on the town, you probably want to get your hair and nails did, also. This could work both ways. The hair and nail salon could easily provide a coupon or a brochure or a flyer encouraging people to go visit the clothing boutique.

Now, if you’re a service business, this works just as well. Let’s say you’re a cleaning company. You could easily partner with a restaurant or a mail delivery service, because think about it. Somebody who just got their house cleaned does not want to mess up the kitchen, right? They would love to have a home-cooked meal so they can enjoy their clean house for at least one day.
