That’s a lot of zeros.

Hey, everybody. My son came home from college this weekend. Can you guess which one? He came home with something really cool that I wanted to share with you. Look how rich he is. He came home with a million dollars. A million dollars. But you see, really, this is just a dollar bill with a bunch of zeros. So what does that have to do with marketing? Well, when you add zeros to whatever number it is that you’re thinking of, it makes you think bigger. When it comes to your marketing, that can make a huge difference.

Let’s say you’re thinking of increasing your retention rate by 10%. But what if you added a zero? 100%. It would get you thinking completely different. It would make you think bigger and new and different ways of doing things because it’s really all about what’s up here. Your mindset when it comes to your marketing.

So I want you to add zeros to whatever it is that you’re thinking of for your goals. And I have no doubt that you will be so much more successful than if you had just set that original goal.
