[Marketing In 2 Minutes Or Less]: What Does A Cooking Show Have To Do With Marketing?

What does a cooking show have to do with marketing?

That’s what I share this week in Marketing In Two Minutes Or Less. Click the video below to watch or read the transcript below:

Here’s the transcript:

I’m eating my way through the aisles. What’s it got to do with small business marketing? Let’s talk about it. . . . .

Hey, everybody I am here at the DC Entertaining and Cooking Show, eating my way up and down all the aisles. What’s got to do with you as a small business owner and marketing? Well, a lot.

Look at all the small business owners here who are sampling their products and services. When you stop by each booth, you have the opportunity to taste and test and ask questions.

Think about it. The big guys have this mastered. When you go to Sam’s Club or COSTCO, they always have those little booths set up where you can sample the products, and it works, because I know that I’ve bought many of those products, and you probably have too. Here, you get the opportunity to sample it, test it, and I love that it’s all small businesses.

I want you to think about how you could do some sampling in your business. If you are a restaurant, maybe while people are waiting in the lobby, or they just sat down to their table, you could give them a sample of your best tasting appetizer. Or, if you’re a service provider, what you could do is give them a sample to test it out. I did this with my Silver Platter Marketing Membership Program, where for $1, you could test it out, plus you got a lot of bonuses and people loved it so much that they opted and they stay members and pay a higher price for the long term.

My message to you is to sample. Sample. Let people try your products and services. I’ve got a lot more shopping to do, I’ve got to fill my bag up. This is “Small Business Stacey” here to help your business grow seven figures and more by becoming a #SmallBizMarketingWiz
