Two letters that scare small business owners – N – O. Whether it’s from prospects, customers, or clients, every small business owner I talk to doesn’t like that word. But it’s actually a GREAT word to hear.

No. No is actually a great marketing strategy. Let’s talk about it.
Hi, I’m Small Business Stacey. Welcome to this week’s edition of Marketing in 2 Minutes or Less. Do you ever hear the word no in your business? Do customers or clients say no to you? Well, that’s actually a good thing if you want to make more profits and put more money in your pocket. Here’s why. No is actually a good thing if you have 20% of the people saying no. I learned this in my coffee and smoothie business. As I was raising my prices I got to a point where everyone was saying yes, so I knew my prices were too low. Then I started raising them until I started hearing no. I found the perfect formula by having 20% of the people say no, and then I knew that my pricing was right.
Your homework this week is to get to know, get 20% of your customers and clients saying no and share in the comments what’s working for you. I’m Small Business Stacey, committed to help your business grow and helping you become a small biz marketing wiz.
