Hey everybody, I am really excited because I just got a new car. Yeah, it’s just a minivan, but this is gonna be a work vehicle for my coffee and smoothie business that I’m gonna have wrapped. Now, while I’m really excited about this new vehicle, I’ve gotta tell you, the car dealership can really use a lesson in marketing. I wanna share that with you today because all they had to do was say two words. Those two words are, say cheese.

Think about it. When you buy a vehicle, you are never more excited than when you get the keys and you’re about to drive off the lot. Now, if this car dealership had taken a picture of me taking the keys, sitting in the car, they could’ve posted that on social media. They could’ve printed out the photos and had a Wall of Fame inside the dealership. They could’ve tagged me, and what am I gonna do? Of course, I’m gonna share this new vehicle on social media and I will tag them as well. It’s a win-win for everybody, and it’s free marketing. It doesn’t cost anybody anything.

So, think about how you can use pictures and video in your marketing. This is such an important topic, that Digital Dave and I are actually gonna do a two part, in-depth series on this under Where Marketing Meets Technology.
