My dad was right. It is cheaper to keep her.

My parents have been married for over 50 years. And you can just see how much love they have for each other. As much as from the day they got married. And people are always asking them, “What’s your secret to staying together for so long?” And my dad, half-jokingly says, “It’s cheaper to keep her.” Well, when it comes to small business marketing, he’s right. Because it is cheaper to keep her. That is your customers, clients and patients.

You see it costs five times more to get a new customer than to keep the one that you already have. So you want to spend your time, effort and money on developing relationships with those that you’ve already brought in the door. You’ve already built the know, like and trust factor. So following the advice of cheaper to keep her is about nurturing and wowing and doing special things along the customer journey to keep those people engaged with you.
