Here’s the transcript:

Hey everybody, Small Business Stacey, Can You Help Me Please? Oh, thank you. I knew you’d say yes. You see whether it’s somebody asking for help opening the door because their arms are full with groceries or that dang telemarketer calling and asking you to fill out a 25-minute questionnaire. When somebody says, can you help me please? Our natural inclination is to say yes. Your customers, clients and patients want to do the same for you. If you ask them, can you help me please, they will be loyal and ingrained to you. What if you were to ask just one simple question a month asking them something about themselves, their lives, their business, their pains, their challenges, what they’re struggling with. Get more insight into what their day to day is like so that you can best help them.

We might come closer to balancing the Budget if all of us lived closer to the Commandments and the Golden Rule.

I’m currently working with a client and we’re working with her on her rebranding and her messaging and sure we could throw a lot of stuff out there, but it doesn’t really matter what we or the client thinks. What matters is the customer who votes with their wallet. So what we did was those five simple words, Can You Help Me Please? And we put these different ideas out there and asked people to vote and what they thought about it. What happened was it created such engagement and people were so excited to see about this new rebranding and it made them more loyal to my client all because she asked, Can You Help Me Please? So ask your customers, clients, and patients, those five simple words, don’t worry, they’re not gonna run away. Don’t worry, you’re not scaring them off and they’re not going to think badly of you because you’re asking them such a question. They want to help you and they will be more loyal and ingrained to you because you are asking for help. I love to hear your comments on this subject. Leave me a comment below.
